Teachers associated with Teach Plus have organized two Teacher Leadership conferences this winter.
- Downstate! The first convening Feb. 18-19, is for downstate Illinois teachers by downstate Illinois teachers in downstate Illinois. It will create a unique opportunity for teachers to begin to etch out a professional network with other like-minded teachers who operate so far apart geographically. - Chicagoland! The second convening Mar. 3, will take place in Chicago and is titled Mind Over Matter: Developing and Sustaining Teacher Leaders. The event will feature workshops that are focused on innovative instructional practices to support great teaching. Participants can expect to collaborate with and learn from teachers from around the Chicagoland area. Register here for the Chicagoland conference.
