- There are over 200,000 educators that have licenses up for renewal this year. This is a significant increase from the typical 60,000 volume the State Board of Education (ISBE) deals with each year. There will be increased user traffic on ISBE’s website, so please keep this in mind when renewing licenses.

- NEA Member Survey: NEA Research and Communications will be surveying members over the next two weeks to ask about their views of unions and desire to maintain their membership. IEA encourages members to take the survey which will be fielded online and distributed via email. The email will come from Education Insights and will disclose that NEA is the sponsor.
